Day 6: Nothing New to Report

Today was another day of tying up loose ends (learning how to navigate the campus, searching for office keys, etc.) and running errands (stamps, more airtime, etc.). I'm quite amazed by the slower pace here. The dean's secretary emailed to tell me where to find the office keys after I had left campus. I explained that I had looked for them earlier and she somewhat scolded me for working while the hubs is here, everyone else is away and the weather is excellent. She explained that I could put in "double time" after he leaves.

To wrap up the day, we went back to the waterfront. Even on day two it didn't disappoint. We window shopped at all of the designer stores that we couldn't afford (despite 40-50% off sales). We held hands and strolled along the water. We stopped for a late bite to eat at a little outdoor restaurant along the water.

At dinner, we noticed a couple behind us drinking from tiny wine glasses. The staff explained that it was a dessert wine. I explained that we would be needing two glasses. The hubs protested. He explained that he was taking antibiotics. Here's the quote of the day:  "but this wine goes perfectly with antibiotics."  How could the hubs refuse?  Another great night with a great guy.
