Day 5: I Could Stay Here Forever

My colleagues are traveling, so I have some time to catch up on my own work and see the sights. Today we went to the V&A Waterfront. It's a beautiful seaport with shopping, restaurants, and ferries that shuttle tourists to Robben Island. 

We went window shopping where I drooled over beautiful tanzanite jewelry and the hubs considered being fitted for a custom suit. We purchased neither and opted for a quiet dinner instead. Once again, the meal was fantastic. 

We wandered in and out of shops picking up trinkets, mementos and souvenirs here and there. We purchased tickets to tour Robben Island on Saturday and continued our casual stroll. I guess a great night is not complete unless you have dinner AND a show and fortunately a wonderful group of marimba musicians along with their singers/dancers made our evening. It was truly one of those "wow" moments. "Wow, am I really here?" "Wow, life is good!"  "Wow, I am blessed."
