Thankfully, the flight was fairly uneventful except for the interesting ... um ... aroma and the crying baby chorus behind us. Why is it that air travel makes adults gassy and babies cranky?!
Now we wait for flight number three of the journey. Two more hours and we'll be in Cape Town. Then it will get REALLY interesting. There was no car available that was large enough for both of us AND our luggage, so we'll be taking a taxi. I was forewarned to avoid those unmarked cabs. Dang! I forgot to turn off that neon sign over my head that says "EASY TARGET". Oh well. I promised mom and dad that I would be careful and vigilant. I will and everything will be fine.
Once we get the bags and the cab, I have a feeling that getting into the cottage will be interesting. I've brought all of my instructions and passcodes, so I'm hopeful that we'll be able to get in tonight and not have to sleep on the curb until the office opens in the morning!
Stay tuned, good people and find out what happens tomorrow!
